More of what you feel reaches you through a machine first. The line between a person and the things they carry grows fainter every year. We don't come to praise that, or to mourn it — only to take one corner of it seriously: the sound.
The easy version of where this goes hands you a box that decides. It moves every control on its own and returns something finished, yours in name only. We build against that, on purpose.
You decide. Every knob, every parameter, your call. The hard work is the part you never see: what belongs in your hands, how it is grouped, how few controls can still give nothing away. An instrument should be powerful in your hands — never powerful instead of them.
How a thing works and how it looks are not two questions here, but one. The face tells you what it does; what it does is what earns the face. We finish both, or we ship neither.
NOVA-2000 is the first instrument we built this way. It is the bar for everything after it.
